形態特徵

Thalli floating, usually in groups of 2-4, ovate, asymmetrical, 2-5 mm long, 1.2-3 mm wide, obscurely 1- or 3-veined, prominently papillate at nodes, with or without papillae on median veins, convex or flat on lower surface; root 1, with a winged sheath at base; root cap acute, curved.
Reproductive parts unknown.

分布

台灣 : common in fresh water in Taiwan.
世界 : Cosmopolitan.
